As above the wife to be and I are heading out to Varadero For two weeks to get married. I'm guessing that a few Scoobynetters have visited Cuba before and can recommend some places to visit. Obviously Havana is top of the list, I also believe Al Capone had a restaurant on the island??

Havana is a must!

Jeep safari is quite good too as you get to go swimming in the natural cave formation. Water is fresh and ice cold, really nice in that heat!

Deep sea fishing was brilliant off the coast of Varadero. got 2 Barracudas and lots of other smaller tropical fish.

Beaches are top notch, best I've seen.

Had the ****s for about a week afterards though as the food isn't the greatest wherever you stay!

Congratulations.

Went to Cuba about 10 years ago, remember Havana being like a time capsule. Earnest Hemingway lived there for many years.
lots of history and loads of old cars about, or at least there was then.

Nice one - We went to Cuba for our honeymoon in 2000. Have a mohito or 3 for me
Varadero is nice - We stayed at Riu Turquesa - T'was lovely - Went to Havana - WOW!!!

We spent a couple of weeks there about 10 years ago. Fantastic beaches, history and music. The only thing that let it down was the food, hopefully that has improved!
