Most annoying accent ?
I used to think it was the Brummie whine, closely followed by the piercing irritation that is female Scousers, but recently with that banal TV durge I think Essex is taking the #1 spot. Even little snippets of it chafe me, like on GMTVAM or whatever it's called now, who seem to have a cook (can't call them a chef) who teaches their viewers how to boil water and always seems to be from Essex. Last week one of them advised us how to soften butter by leaving it out of the fridge for a while
On the other hand, I do cringe when there is a serious news article which leads to a street/doorstep interview with a typical Yorkshire scrag My God do we sound thick

# Maybe it's because I'm a Lundunaaaa,
That I am such a caaaaaant!! #
lol
Seriously, gotta be a simpleton Brummie's accent! They just sound sooooo inferior to anything else. And it's almost as if they know it too! - it comes across as almost 'I apologise for sounding so thick' LOL!
Or what about Aussie yoof - where they go up an octave on the last word of a sentence, thus turning everything into a question!!!

I hail from Essex (born in Chelmsford in '68/lived in Braintree till 2001), and unless the populus has morphed into a bunch of aliens, I can assure you 'we' sound nothing like those ditzy ***** on TOWIE!! Essex accent is a compendium of Luuunduuun and rural Suffolk ("oooh-aahr, alroooight buoooy") - and anywhere in between!

Although Leicester is a bit nondescript (I'm only here by default ), I'm so glad I don't live any further north. The saying "it's grim oop north" is one of the truest statements out.
You're welcome to your ****hole of a geographical location/array of silly accents/non-weather/****ing ale with foam on/"The Real Ale *****"/whippets/****e housing/downtrodden way of life, etc., etc...
When God built Britain, he started from the top and
got better and better as he went...

So glad I'm a southener. As said, northerners can cling on to their ludicrous misplaced pride of their ****ehole of a geographical location. Good luck to yer.
No pie maker - but a "Creative Technologist".
Apples - how do you like 'em?

I have to say Brummies, but more specifically the 'black country' accent. It's not just an accent, it's a whole different flippin' language!!
And before you say, I live in wolves, I am not a brummie! I would be a 'yam yam' if I had been born here.
