Kettlebells
I'm thinking about investing in some for use at home to tone up and lose some weight. Does anyone on here have some? What weights would you recommend and do you need to double up on any of the weights? What reference DVD or books are also worth getting?

you might want to invest in the powerbell but it don't come cheap..good for cardio with a lot of reps...
Try fitness superstore,i'll be visiting myself tomorrow to buy a couple 20kg olympic weights and look at a new bench..

Get a muscle and fitness mag.....they are in there week in week out.
I would guess an average male would need something like 5kg - 15kg to start, not a great deal more as kettle's are for obscure lifts as opposed to regimented bar work. You wont lose a whole lot of weight though, also toning gains will be limited to muscles worked.
Get a rowing machine or cardio device.
