Costco do good deals I'm told.

Not sure if there is one near you or if you're a member though.

http://www.daysoftcontactlenses.com/

Used them for a few years. Been cheapest by far and no problems so far.

Still need to get an eye test every year or two, though.

Mark, thats really appreciated. Their price looks superb to what specsavers quoted me, they were asking for around £35 per month for daily throw away ones.

I presume you need to go for an eye test with someone else then get the information needed and order through the site above ? Its just i don't currently wear glasses or lenses so i have no idea about my eye info.

I agree with Mark totally, I've been using daysoft for about 18 months and cannot fault them at all.
The prices are unbeatable and the service is outstanding!

You do need to get an eye test from somewhere on the high st, I use specsavers along with a contact lense test as you haven't worn them before and then you can use your prescription online. Get specsavers to give you a set of sample lenses to try out so you have an idea of what you feel comfortable. They usually give this as standard on your first contact lense test appointment.

Daysoft isn't going to be an option for me, apparently i have a slight astigmatism in one eye so i need Toric contact lenses which apparently Daysoft don't do.

Does anyone else have a astigmatism and use Toric lenses ? If so why do you buy yours from and what price per month.

Specsavers where i had the eye test done and contact lens fitting are quoting me £35 per month, ive just had to buy a months supply as the optician wanted to see me in a months time to see how my eyes are after using lenses for a few weeks.

Get them lasered. I got my eyes done n I've got better than 20 20 and I'm still paying the same amount for the treatment as I would for my contact lenses. It's the best thing I've ever done and the result is awesome. If I was told the cost was ten times that it was with knowing the result I'd still pay it without any doubt
