my mate was in spain (dont ask me where exactly) on a golfing holiday...anyway him and his bro are in the driving range and there is a guy above them (2 tier range) SMASHING the ball a ton...over and over.....they hear spanish being shouted and just think great striker, ignorant turd.....SEVE walks down the steps laughing with a blonde dolly bird, and smoke and a bottle of beer on the go....he stayed with them for 30 mins after they all got autographs and gave them free advise, while they gave him free beer....spparently a great guy.....shame.

Thats so sad, my wife use too look after him and his family when the Dunhill Masters was at Woburn, Him and his family use too stay at the Hotel where she use to work, she says he is a true gent, get well very soon Seve!!!!!!!!

Seve was the reason my brother got into golf and 25 years on now plays off a handicap of 4. Some people in sport are more than just sportsmen, they inspire others. Seve was one of those. RIP!

Really gutted today.
I remember watching Seve play Monty in the inaugural Seve Trophy at Sunningdale.
Seve, as he often did in the latter stages of his career, was spraying the ball everywhere. I can recall seeing him disappearing into the woods, fairway after fairway, vanishing from view and a minute or so later hearing "thwack" and a ball comes flying out of the woods and lands on the green. The match was played in great spirit and Monty kept shaking his head and asking the crowd how he was doing it.
God bless Seve. I hope there are some good course for you "up there".
