It's not a question of whether Iran should have nukes, it's who they would give them to if they developed them.

I doubt Iran would use them they know it would be the end of them if they did, but as for supplying the to other parties.....

Agreed. Who are we to decide who can have nuclear arms? We are allied with probably one of the more unstable nuclear powers, so why not let everyone have a taste?

Indeed, the US possibly have the least to fear from deploying nuclear weapons.

The Soviets or Chinese wouldn't want to get in the mix, so they pretty much have carte blanche to do what they wish.

It is not a case of if they should but rather do we have the right to stop them.

If the UK/America wanna be the hotshots they need to man-up and start taking over and slaughtering its foes whilst creating an Empire once again. Otherwise they should sit down and **** up.

And for that reason I voted no. However if USA, Russia, UK can have nukes as a deterrent, why not every other country. Its technical no-one elses business, only theirs.

We have our own issues to deal with, not to mention trying to fight a war on "terror" and a war on "genocide".

Yup, here's a scenario - if the other Muslim nations who also have nuclear weapons decide to step in and retaliate for Israelis act of war and aggression with a 'Holy War' then it could will escalate - with America backing up Israel and heh-presto WW3 and we literally all die!

I do not have an answer i just wish nuclear and chemical weapons where not in the hands of anyone!

Blame is very important. UK/America Haven't taken the blame for anything in recent history and look at where it has got us!

Have you, your family and friends and the countless millions actually done enough in protest against some of the problems the UK has caused? Probably not, sure we can't even protest about fuel prices properly ffs so everyone shares the burden of blame.
