Parcelforce supposed to be picking up a parcel from me today, quoted me 11am>4pm for pickup.
Stayed in all day.
At 4.05, rang them, they will "get someone there asap".
In other words, they forgot.
And THEY won't understand the job losses and paycuts when it's privatised.

Royal Mail and Parcelfarce share the same website. They ARE related.
Latest update: apparently, the whole system was down today, which Mr 4 o'clock forgot to tell me so NO collections today, will tomorrow between 11 and 4 be OK?
Jeeeeesus, you couldn't make it up.

They, like RM, are probably grossly understaffed and didn't have the staff available to collect your parcel. They keep quiet in the hopes you won't complain. I've seen it in RM first hand and its us, the postmen, who get the grief

Blu, are you sure you are a postman? If you are perhaps you need to ask your DOM about the company structure? Until the Postal Services Bill going through Parliament is enacted Royal Mail Group is the parent of Royal Mail Letters, Parcelforce, Post Office and GLS.
There were system problems today caused by the useless outsourced IT partners but it shouldn't have affected a Parcelforce pickup. Someone just screwed up. It happens. With all sorts of service companies.
