Which Mobile Phone
Hi Guys,
Due for an upgrade on the works mobile.
I need it for 2 email accounts, browsing the web and the usual make and take calls. The contract's with BT.
Anyone have any insight to which of these would be the better phone
Nokia N8
HTC Wildfire S
HTC Desire S
I believe these are the pick of the bunch from what they are offering!

I have just ordered a Desire S.
Don't go for the Wildfire S as the screen is too small for decent internet browsing. Even txting is very fiddly on it.
And I bet they do offer an IPhone, but the OP doesn't want to be bent over for a piece of technology that is out of date when compared to competition! Great phone still, but way, way over priced.
Also, try posting in the correct section! This will surely be moved to computer related shortly.

Ahh that's what I miss so much about Scoobynet WRONG FORUM!
Gear head had already told me that, after typing a constructive post.
@ Evobad -Samsung galaxy isn't in the OP list!
My personal phone is the Ip4, but don't want two, I'd like to try something different.
Thanks Gear Head, think I'll go for the Desire S then.

Just go into somewhere like carphopne warehouse and have a play with the phones. I did today as I'm replacing the iphone 3g in 3 weeks. Wildfire S did seem if would suit me for what I need a phone to do.

Battery? I have the Desire HD and if I use it as a smartphone then I get a day+ on the battery. Desire S has a smaller screen (what takes most of the juice) and a bigger battery. Go figure ...... I have 2 email accounts setup on it, Dolphin HD web browser and occasionally take calls on it ... So the 'S' would seem to fit your criteria ....

Run away from Imoans they are expensive and Apple has you by the nuts unless you jailbreak it which isn't for everyone.
Desire is the best out of what you listed as I recently looked into them also but we went for the galaxy S as it suited our needs and what we wanted to pay on our tarif.

Hmm, just been offered the Galaxy S2. I reckon this is probably the best phone on the market at the mo, so I've given the final decision to the boss. Surprise me lol

Just got the Galaxy S2 a few weeks ago and it's a brilliant phone, a lot better than my 3GS and even the other half's IP4. Battery lasts at least twice as long as what my 3GS lasted. Screen is fantastic and being able to do certain things which you simply can't do on iPhones is a welcome change.
I'm not sure I'll ever go back to iPhones again.
