Didn't we have a similar program in the UK; as part of a spin off of Police camera action.
Which inccidentally was a load of propander bull crap, but it did involve a 'normal' driver plonked in a car told to drive at a fake wall at 40mph and stop where he thought there was enough distance to do so (or something like that).
Either way....FAIL!

Ah, looks like a dutch version of "Canada's Worst Driver" (not sure if that was the original or not, the cannucks might have stolen the idea from others). The test is, I believe, high speed lane changing. The idea is to change lanes, at high speed, whilst avoiding hitting the wall in front. The looking back bit was to see if the lane he was changing into had traffic.
You do wonder if some of these people are just playing up to this, but alas I feel that is not the case and they really are appalling and dangerous drivers.
Anyone remember how many points you get these days for taking out a pedestrian
