A bit cheesed off with that, to be honest!!
Inflation is running at 5% and my Pension is costing me another 1% this year - so, the net increase is a BIG FAT ZERO!!!![Mad](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/mad.gif)
Teachers are getting 7.5% this September ... Bankers are still getting fat bonuses ... us 'normal, everyday, workers' are getting shafted!!
Anyway, what can you do?

So the Teachers, getting a 7.5% increase this September should stop moaning then?
You misunderstand - what I am effectively receiving is ZERO ... NOUGHT ... NOTHING - I will have what I had last year ............ 6% is just the headline figure, 0% is more accurate!
Add that to the fact that the 40% Tax point has dropped to a poxy £35,001 and even MORE of my wage is taken at 40% Tax!!
It's not good at all ....

I struggle to put anything Pete says in context, he was saying he was 80 odd several years ago, claims to be very wealthy and doesnt have many outgoings yet frets about a few quid here and there ? he drives mainly older/cheaper cars despite being wealthy and is still employed full time despite being well over retirement age !
Come on Pete, tell us the real score and we may take you seriously.
