I have been wearing these tops, they are a lot longer around the lower back so they dont ride up and show all the motorists my builders hoop.

This orange version is actually florescent orange, the colours on my monitor look a bit washed out. A few of my mates have started wearing them as well, they seam decent enough for us.
I have also been wearing these shorts.

But i have been wearing the shorts underneath some cargo/combat shorts.

Ive got some year old team kit (saxobank), that was cheapish, and the quality and fit is better than some 45 quid Gore stuff I have.
Prendas have some nice stuff, Santini stuff is pretty good.

I have two of their tops, excellent gear rumour is it's made under the same roof as under armour.

Shift Motocross jersey if on a mountain bike.
Same Shift Motocross jersey if on a road bike.
I hate roadie gear.
Something like:

I have one of those tops from Sport Direct in bright orange, very good for the price and have a useful zip pocket on the ack for when i go out without a back pack to put house keys in. They do more subtle colours too if your not into orange.
I also have a black muddy fox cycling top I got in sports direct which was only slightly more which I wear for commuting so i don't stand out so much on the train.
I don't really go for cycling shorts though or wear them under baggy shorts

Another vote for Karrimor, or try Aldi, they do Crane Sports stuff which is ok for leisure riding. My winter trousers from there were ace.
