Sounds like there is more to it though:
But he breached the order last September by alerting the other parent. Prosecutor Owen Beale said the father, frustrated at what he saw as decreasing access to his daughter, also called his ex-wife’s home 14 times in two hours one evening the same month, and rang her mobile phone three times.
Even so, as a parent there is no way you could stand by & let it carry on ...

Makes you question the senses of the ex-wife to marry a convicted peado whilst having children in the house.
However, if the ex-husband is harrasing the peado then the ex is in the wrong as far as the law is concerned.
He had/have a convicted sex offender in our street. We didn't know until some woman went round knocking on everyones door to tell them. He molested her as a child and because they didn't have anywhere else to put him (he was supposed to be put some distance away from the lady but but like the next street along from her )
She was causing a disturbance and the guy called the cops - she was disturbing the peace so the cops took her away.

I can't see why a man like that convicted paedophile should have any protection from people knowing about his previous disgusting acts. The authorities are also responsible for the safety of the man's daughter, and I can understand his worries for his daughter's safety. It is odds on that a man like that will carry out a similar offence again.
If it is against the law to tell another parent of the possibility of such an offence against their daughter, then the law should be changed.

What a load of boll@cks. The so call LAW gets more & more stupid every day.
I'd do time for my kids and think I would have done a lot more than telling another parent about the dirty rotten scum! They should all be hung.

The father has clearly been warned about this before, and persisted in going ahead. He knew the risks before doing so, and as such deserves no sympathy. Doing anything else endorses a vigilante society with no regard for fair trial, due process or evidence-based accusation.
Even if you agree with his motivations, this cannot be allowed to happen.

the laws there so the peados stay where they are put and the police can keep an eye on them?
its ,meant to stop them going underground, disapearing.
but thats b/s imo. esp when you see them housed near schools , streets full of kids ect. and im sure the police have got loads of time to check up on them, inbetween catching the real criminals out there - motorists!!

Tbh, if I was to see that, I'd probably just think he was a bit mental/very comfortable with himself. However, people have to respect each other. And whilst he may feel he should be able to walk around naked, he should know better than to think everyone is ok with that.
The situation clearly needed dealt with, but it's quite possible he wasn't some sort of sex pest and danger to society (other than maybe a danger to peoples eyes), so surely putting him on the register was a bit ott.

firstly to do what they say there goijing to do, by monitoring ect - far too many repeat offenders, that have done serious sexuls crimes and then basically left alone.?
bt my answer would be, depending on severity of crime commited, chemical castration.
anyone who does this, knows its clearly wrong - its calculated attacks, and they know our society wont accept it. and rightly so.
there is absolutley no need to have sex with children!!
now its a diff ball game, when statutory rape if person is under 15 - this to me doesnt make sense - eg september the 21st its rape and suddenly overnight on the 22nd, the 16th birthday and the person is sexually mature and all ok??
