I pass a lot of cafes on my travels and I'm sure I've seen a place selling them in Leeds can't remember exactly where though. A pub near me used to possibly still does them one day a week. My mate used to love them, steak Canadian with onions and some proper thick chips, that was his Friday lunchtime treat.

are these minute steaks
the thin rectangle slices of steak kind of thing, where they come frozen with sheets of grease proof paper between separating them.
If so you can get them in farmfoods

You could always go to one of those shops that are on most high streets or in most towns and villages. I cant remenber what they are called now. Oh, yes I can, they are called butchers. Places that sell meat for those that don't know ie those that shop in ASDA.

Also Makro and Costco sell them in catering packs. My mum used to buy me the catering packs when I was a kid. I used to fry up about 8 on one sandwich

I shop at Asda and am a convert, ie I purchase meat from my local butchers and not the supermarket.

I do have a box of these in the freezer, not much taste to them but excellent as post beer food

We've got 4 butchers within a mile of here all of which are thriving. Our local Sainsbugs meat counter (it's not a butchers) always has meat at half price cos nobody buys anything from there cos it's ****e and more expensive.
