I started surfing when I lived in Australia, then I had those shoulder problems and my board has been packed away since.
Was thinking about giving it a go again. I'm just a novice really. I have a 2x3 wetsuit but I'm not sure what you need for the UK? I'm thinking Abersoch is good for where I live near Manchester?

5.3 over here now - If your looking for somewhere to go in the North West best bet is drive down to Wales to be fair - Or take up kitesurfing ... Then it shouldn't hurt the shoulder as much due to the power coming through your waist. And you guys getting all the wind that side of the country - best place for it really. but defo 5.3 maybe 3.2 summer if your lucky.
