Default Londoners!!

******RANT MODE ON!************

When giving out your address please say that you live in London ffs!

I've had 3 people email me their addresses this week (non clinic related) and every one has just said for EG

1 main street
Sw8 3rl

Or the like!

Do you think every one outside the m25 should automatically know all London post codes !!!

*****Rant mode off*******

Just me?

I arranged to meet a Londener in 'the City' last weekend.

For some strange reason they didn't realise I meant Birmingham City

You are right but when using the UPS online booking you need the full address!

why the **** should I have to google someones address when I have already asked them for it! Is it that hard to right an extra word or are they ashamed of coming from the dirtiest place in the world to name it!!
It's almost like text speak otherwise known as being too fe**ing lazy to right one extra word that tells us normal folk where in the country you live!
(not moaning at you Dedrater!)

The answer is simple, just assume that all those who do not put town/city in their address are obviously Londoners!

Agreed. I believe there was major upset when the boundaries between 0207 and 8 were set.

Not true. I work in zone 1 (right on the river), which is classed as central London, and my work number starts 0208. Then there's 0203, which is a London number.

0207 is a north London (central) number.
