Default Dogs, freaky creatures

Does your Dog (or other pet for that matter do anything weird), ours is fearless most of the time and will attack motorised garden machinery, the Hoover, play with any other Dog however huge and is scared of nothing apart from utter panic when he sees my Rucksack ! I get my stuff together the night before and put it on the table near his bed and you see him leave his bed and Scuttle of upstairs into the youngest's bedroom where he hides, doesnt want to go downstairs, I have to remove the bag to get him to settle, I think its cos the bag fell off one day and made him jump, he now sees it as evil.

Do yours do anything similar ?

My dog is petrified of the hoover, yet attacks the lawnmower. Ironic of course as its the lawnmower that will kill her where as the hoover wouldn't do a thing.

Howls when the phone rings, and in a spooky way (but clearly coincidentally) only when it's my sister phoning home.......

Saved the best till last....

When you say 'polar bear' to her she cries and howls as loud as she can..nobody in the house knows why..?

My parents dog liked to sing to opera music

And always knew when i was coming home for some reason waiting at the front door just staring at it

Maybe his doggy ears could hear the scooby miles away though.

Try saying grow a pair or solar pear and see if you get the same reaction.

My mate had a Border Collie which went mental if you said "Scousers", and it didnt depend on tone of voice either, could growl it or or say it all upbeat and the result was the same.
