Default Can I upgrade Greenflag cover to include homestart?

I have their recovery plus which doesn't include homestart but now need car recovering to a garage due to knackered suspension - Citroen C3. Getting it some distance from the house would be the thing to do - not sure it is at all driveable - or if I ring them do you think they will allow me to pay the difference and upgrade?

Re driving the car, the spring went on my 406, it took out the tyre for starters. No, do not drive it, it could burst the tyre and even worse fail completely when driving causing loss of control!

I wanted to explore the options before calling them but result is pretty much as expected. Yes I can upgrade for £20 but I have to wait 7 days or it is an emergency call out of £115 on top! A lot cheaper to get local recovery. Thought I had homestart on the policy. Probably didn't bother as I would expect it to be things like flat battery or flat tyre which I can deal with.

Do you not have any mates with breakdown cover. No need for homestart then as it won't be your friends home address .

Didn't think of that......but actually how would that work? Recovery is costing me £40 and hopefully I can stick that to Citroen.

Any one with break down cover with the likes of AA or RAC who is covered as a driver/passenger in any car can claim to have driven/travelled in your car to your house and then broken down when trying to leave. Job done.
