Petrol or Nitro RC?

Petrol or Nitro RC?
Hi,
I used to own a Petrol Monster Truck that I bought for near £800 afew years back. I only played with this afew times, this was due to the amount of noise it makes and the fact that you can not use the thing in parks and quite roads for some fun!
So I sold this.
I am looking again to purchase something that is fun, and wanted to know should I consider a Nitro Car? Not sure how the Nitro works, but the basic requirements are:
Must be a nice looking motor – though I think you can change the shells etc..
Must be quite
Must be fast
Thanks in advance…

LOL... "is nitro noisy".... think what a two-stroke motorbike with hardly any exhaust would sound like at 20,000-30,000 rpm...
Yes, nitro is noisy. Probably noisier than petrol. Very high pitched, pretty loud.
As has been said, if you have noise issues the easy answer these days is to go with LiPo electric.
