Costume suggestions for rock and roll party
Having some serious lack of inspriation for a costume for a friends rock and roll party, the instructions say 'dress as your favourite rock star or music icon' but its quite hard to find a decent (and more importantly cheap) costume for a female rock star. My boyfriend is going as Sid Vicious and his costume is really easy!

I had this problem once, a long time ago, when I was invited to a Klu Klux Clan Fancy Dress Party .......
In the end I went as Al Johnson ........ it wasn't the best choice of outfit, with the benefit of hindsight!
Point is - be careful what you choose!!

No pics, although I'll do a deal - if someone on here comes up with the costume idea that I use, I will post a pic of the resulting costume in this thread
If it helps, I'm average height & build, with long brown highlighted hair.
My other half thinks I shouls go as avril lavigne but she has so many different looks it would be pretty damn difficult to tell who I was meant to be.

Tina Turner is a good idea if I can find the right sort of wig, my hair is way too long for pink unfortuantely or that would be a good one.
Cindi Lauper may be the wrong generation, I've heard of her but wouldn't know what she looks like, lol!
