I believe it is being released around 10.00am Pacific time meaning that it will be available here form 6.00pm if what I have heard/read is correct.
But there will be millions of yanks not to mention the rest of the world all trying to download at the same time, so I'm leaving it until early tomorrow morning when I get up for work around 5.00am. Most of the network traffic should then have cleared and hopefully it will be a breeze.

6pm ... 6pm ... in 15 minutes.
My thoughts on it here: https://www.scoobynet.com/computer-r...-dislikes.html
(I had a pre-release version)

Well I've updated my iPhone and I have to say that I like what I've seen so far.
But iTunes has well and truly mixed up my album artwork to the tracks, anyone know how to get around this problem?

It restarted after the firmware upgrade...
...in Chinese.
Let's hope that this is merely an interim stage before the restore!!! Or may be a user sensing feature that recognises I am a Chinky?

I can see a huge privacy issue with IOS 5 as it now allows you to track where your iPhone/iPad is from any PC/Mac. (should someone get hold of your password.) A colleague updated his iphone and ipad last night and is tracking the whereabouts of his wife!

The only different thing is that you now have 'Find Friends' application which allows you to add someone and then track them. The question from your spouse being a class government one: "So, if you arn't doing anything wrong, why can't I add you ... "
