iphone 4 - saving WiFi user name and password

I am living in a condo with WiFi that requires a user name and password to access.
On my laptop UN and P are saved in chrome , but I cannot get Safari to save .
Any tips ?

Click on the network name in Settings. Wifi and make sure auto join is enabled.

Yes, its not saved in the browser, its saved by the OS.

Do you mean it's an open network that when you connect you are directed to a webpage to enter a user name and password?

It may be a web site of some sort - see below

This gets me to the condo web site I suppose , where the log in requirements have to be completed
