Steve Smith, from Lancaster, was sent a letter addressed to 'Dear Off' and an application form with 'F*** Off' printed on it - with the offensive word spelled out in full.

Easy to engineer.
When I was at school we had a kid in our class who had a big nose, so was called "poky".
His name was Watson.
So I filled out a request for information for him, found in the back of a sunday magazine.
I filled in his name as Mr P.O'Kywatson..........Pokywatson, get it?
Sure enough, about a week later, he was in school, mad as a hornet, asking who was responsible.........Wot? Me guv? Never!

There was a guy a little while ago - unfortunately I cannot remember the bank - but he was in dispute with them and changed his name by deep poll to X Bank are *******s.
They refused to give him a cheque book and credit cards in that name.
I am sure it is in NSR somewhere.
