Default legal Advice dads house and women

Ok if anyone has any legal mates can you ask this question for me please cos its driving me nuts

My dads 79 and hes got a mad women who comes to see him, she hordes stuff, her house is full of crap she has 2 lockups also full of crap her cars full of crap, and guess what craps now in my dads house .

Ive asked her to move it but shes one of these that dances around it and writes letters to me and never moves the stuff, Ive asked my dad, and he said hes asked but shes such a strong chracter that it never happens.

So my first thought would be bin it, BUT legally i think there is a law that says i cant even if my dad says i can.

Anybody know ? I heard you need to server a solicitors letter on her saying youll charge rent in 30 days then your legally entitled to charge her ?

can anybody advise cos its making me and my bro mad to the point where we will take legal as we are bothered its effecting my dad

cheers guys

ted

Can't you just chuck it into the back garden (it's still on the property) then phone her to come pick it up?

If she doesn't have the owners permission then she needs to remove it, I would formally issue her with a letter (via the solicitor/or by registered post and keep a copy) saying that she has 30 days (reasonable) to remove her items otherwise you'll dispose of them through the local council waste removal team.

Then kick her in the fanny

Fanks...

On a serious note why is your father letting her dump stuff at his place? and it sounds like he needs to be the one telling her to shift it - as she'll probably start all over again once it quietens down....

You must always be seen to be acting reasonably in the eyes of the Law, so play the medium/long game with her, e.g. slowly, slowly catch the monkey (or mad bint)

Done this DCI believe me when i say she has a mental issue, something is deffo wrong with her, But my dad is in a catch 22 he likes the company but wants her gear out not much to ask really, but she i think uses the gear as a way to just pop round which in my eyes is a hook and a kind of harassment order.

Man up and chuck her stuff in the street and call her to come and collect it. Don't let her take the p1ss out of your elderly Dad.

Don't be a PC plonker going all legal and writing letters, how gay is that?

Well if it's only five suitcases can't you just chuck them into your car and drop them off in her garden then?

Possession is 9/10ths of the law mate.

She "gave" you all the stuff in the house, they were gifts but as you dont want them you've disposed of it all, after writing a letter stating you wish to return her "gifts".

Dear Miss Freakywierdo, we thank you kindly for all the gifts which you have bestowed upon my father but unfortunately due to lack of storage space we cannot accept them. You are welcome to collect these kind presents in the next 7 days and pass them onto someone whom they may benefit. If the gifts are not retrieved within the next 7 days we will assume they have no monatary value and will dispose of them accordingly.

Regards, Getyacrapoutmacrib

Agreed. Tell her she has one week, none of this 30 days nonsense, then her stuff will be available for collection from the local charity shop. For a small fee, of course

Put it all in a cardboard box and deliver it to her house, if she refuses to take it, dump it on her doorstep in front of her.

I am amazed this post even came up.....

1) your dad doesn't want it....
2) you don't want it

Be normal.....if someones leaves garbage in your garden you pick it up and remove it....do the same! Bonfire night is soon also
