Switching off IM on Sam Galaxy S2

When I configured the email on my S2 the phone forced me to allow this instant messaging nonsense. I now can't seem to figure out how to turn the damn thing off and stop messages from random people I don't know wanting to be my 'friend'

Any ideas?

Just delete it, I had IMpro plus on my phone and it was keep switching itself on and killing my battery so I just deleted it from my phone.
