Do families still play videos?
Clearing out the attic I came across a large collection of kids videos - Postman Pat. Lion King etc.
Do I just chuck them or give them to a school, charity or whatever? I don't want money for them btw.

I wouldn't throw them away. Take them to a charity shop. I'm sure some people will still use them.

We tried recently to donate a suitcase full of videos to the charity shops, none of the shops would take them because customers don't want them. Ended up on the tip which seemed a bit of a waste really.

Some charity shops only take what they know will sell.

I couldn't even sell a Sony video player for £1. Charity shops were like "meh!" Tip unfortunately.
