I have a 4S and the battery life is astonishing, I can only guess this is because I restored iOS from my 3GS. Great news that it's going to improve though.
Bit of a shame that Android users just get left out in the cold when these things happen to them but that's what you get for using a free operating system.

Find a thread where I slag off a product every time it crops up.
I have little interest in android threads but I don't go to post in there on purpose to say its **** or I don't like it.
So when you find a post from me that fits that criteria come back to me

Wow! I applied the update yesterday afternoon and i've turned off wifi and 3G, disabled location and GPS settings, i haven't used a single app and i've turned down the screen brightness, phoned nobody, texted nobody and now my phone's been running for 3 days on a single charge!!
More importantly if you applied the update yesterday and its been running for 3 days that means that the battery saving only kicked in yesterday, so if today is the third, for at least 1 and a half days it was still running on the old software, meaning either you barely used it before the update, you're now running on about 3%, or the update has improved the battery by a ridiculously, yet unbelievable amount.

You obviously care as you're not shy when it comes to posting negative news.
My 4s Battery is great as well, the update can only make it better.

As I have an iphone and ipad I will read Apple threads to see of any worthwhile news, however as per 99% of the time this thread has just brought out the anti Apple brigade
No battery issues on either of my devices so the small update i'm not bothering with as not fussed about multi touch gestures on my ipad. I'd rather jailbreak (when untethered is available) and have sbsettings back which is the best jailbreak function on any Apple device and the only reason I jailbreak. Instant control over all hardware functions of the device without having to go through lists of menus.
