Just about to buy the Harry Potter DVD from play.com, but not sure if it will work on the PS2. Anybody know?
Also, there is the fullscreen, and widescreen versions. I have a Panasonic WS TV, but the tech for the DVD says:
Widescreen 2.35:1 Anamorphic
Not sure what that means - any ideas, and do I go for the WS version? Need a quick answer as about to buy it now.

Cheers
Ordered it anyway as came to same conclusion as you - I f I'd seen it in the shops I would get the WS version, so went for that.
Not out until 11th May so will have to wait for now. Great film though![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

"Anamorphic" is most easily explained by what is isn't - it isn't a letterbox edition.
It means that your widescreen TV has to expand the picture in the hozizontal direction only, in order to get the correct aspect ratio.
In general "Anamorphic" presentations will have a better picture quality than "Letterbox" presentations on a widescreen TV. They are produced specifically for a widescreen TV.
There shouldn't be any reason why it wouldn't work on a PS2.
