Which Religion is your favourite?
I have a Roman Catholic mother who is nuts and sleeps with a cross nailed above her bed and sleeps with a bible under the pillow.
I went to C of E schools with chapel in the morning
Suppose I'm rather religious. However,Buddhism for me
Must investigate more but seems to reflect my views and thoughts more than any of the others.
Sure there will be a lot of Jedi Warrior people on here

Well it's hard to decide really...
With Catholicism you get to fiddle with the kiddies (and even nuns in some cases).
With Paganism and Satanism you get to sacrifice virgins - shame you don't get to use them first!
With Mormonism you get to have a whole bunch of wives - and some some sects they run pretty young too
As an Anglican you get to to serve crusties at coffee mornings
And with Buddism you don't get to touch women at all
Difficult choices all around...

Hmmm, just been thinking about this and Rastafarian would be a pretty cool religion, nothing better than spending the day stoned to the bone.

Victims of clerical sex abuse have reacted furiously to Pope Benedict's claim yesterday that paedophilia wasn't considered an "absolute evil" as recently as the 1970s.
In his traditional Christmas address yesterday to cardinals and officials working in Rome, Pope Benedict XVI also claimed that child pornography was increasingly considered "normal" by society.
"In the 1970s, paedophilia was theorised as something fully in conformity with man and even with children," the Pope said.
"It was maintained - even within the realm of Catholic theology - that there is no such thing as evil in itself or good in itself. There is only a 'better than' and a 'worse than'. Nothing is good or bad in itself."
Not sure what society the pope was referring to but i am pretty sure most people find paedophilia evil and one of the worse things imaginable!

i just live my life by my own morals,
dont need them imposed on me, and esp not by religion
more harm than good, came from any of them.
imo they do have a place for certain people in society - but certainly not or me, all a load of horsesh*t as far as im concerned lol

Religion is the biggest cause of fighting and war's and death since time began so whenever I take over the world I will enforce my own religion upon the whole population and therefore ending all of the fighting and killing and everybody will live in peace and harmony in Windyboy's World

Of the organised ones Buddhism is probably the the nearest thing to my 'favourite'
BTW Dunk, from memory of my time in Thailand, I'm sure it's only buddhist monks that have to abstain
