As is traditional every year Mrs Swiss decides that we need to empty the loft of a ton of lights, baubles, 40 miles of cables and extensions leads, trees etc and then chuck them in an orderly fashion all over our house, both inside and out.

Every year I resist and go all grumpy and humbug on her, but as usual she gets her own way

So nearly three weeks later I present the Swiss "Blinded by the Light" Extravaganza

My girlfriend is allowed 1 tree small, some lights on the tree and thats it no tinsel or other baubles allowed on the tree ir anywhere else.

Great lights, Chris. One thing for me is that my house will look really bare after they come off, So I'd rather keep to my lantern going for the season. Other thing is that we have quite a few people in our colony with Christmas lights disorder. They compete with one another with their OTT lights like anything. I don't want to be p!ssing them off by going an extra mile.

 

Cheers Swati, dont worry about the house looking bare, once they come down we have enough crap in here to fill it all up again. We dont do minimilist

My missus needs to be put in the loony bin. I have not shown the pictures of the decorated toilets, xmas feeding mat for the cat, festive tea towels etc etc
