To Recap:How was your 2011?
The positives for me was passing probation for work and moving to a different dept.
My negatives was car door got damaged in the car park,
got 3 points on my license and some To55er ripped off my wing mirror last night
Still single lol
Lets all hope for a better 2012

Bit of a mixed one for me
Finally tracked down an immaculate 96 wrx with low miles.
Tried to sell my 340hp fiat coupe turbo but had so many timewasters it's still outside today, want rid really.
Been on redundancy scare at work for last 6 months which has made it hard to get on with life.
And fell out with a best mate I've known for years.
2012..
Hoping new job, and different house, and time to work on the impreza, oh and a holiday...

Good!
Firstly my wife has very much recovered from major surgery and serious illness
Took redundancy
Had the summer off
Daughter bought a house
Got a new job earning a lot more than I was on before.
Heres to an even better 2012.
Oh,and I met the lovely Les from scoobynet.

Good and bad really.
I always try to stay on the brighter side of life, but when my dad died suddenly in Feb my world fell apart. I don't think I have even come to terms with it yet.
Now my son is having physio and being referred for occupational therapy.
The good thing is that I have realised we need to enjoy life a bit more. So we booked our wedding I grew some (hypothetical) ***** and stopped people bringing me down all the time and took charge of my life a bit more

Mixed bag.....
Got hit from behind in my car.
Still in same job,no wage rises again for 5th year in a row.
Didnt get anywhere money wise, despite cutting back and trying hard.
Had a couple of unexpected deaths in friends and family.
Wanted to refresh some of the house, but couldnt get round to it,never mind afford it!
Took on a Rescue GSD,handful but worth every minute.

Mixed really
Work is a struggle thanks to the economy and Apple who are retards, but can't grumble too much as still here!
Did some good travelling
Went a whole year without any issue on my Jag.
Didn't get out in the Scooby as much as I would have liked.
Watched the stock market tank and tank again.
Met some great people including Asif from SN
Hope 2012 is a little bit better

Mixed bag here too.. Both my wife and I have changed jobs for the better, moving house 2 days before Christmas and haven't been on holiday.
I know it sounds selfish but 2011 was about getting rid of debt, getting more money in and saying right think of our future.
Can't wait for next years beach go
Imay.. I miss blue seas...

I have had worse TBH.
Got into a role I wanted since starting at work but now looking forward again to my next progression as I am finding it less of a challenge now I have ironed out the problems I inherited when taking it on.

First part of the year wasn't good - slow recovery from a foot operation meant 3 months off work
Then 2 ops on my ear that's left me deaf in it and needing reconstruction next year.
A a mixed bag year car wise - bought 4, but wrote one off, but on the positive side now ended up with 2 brilliant cars and a nail.
Work wise - very good for me and the wife.
Let's hope it continues next year.... somehow I doubt it will.

without jinxing myself
fantastic year, sold my 420bhp 2.5 classic, with my 550bhp later classic almost done.
lucky enough to be in semi-secure job, great conditions although a few being chipped away at. managed to do up living room, bathroom , kitchen. pay off debts that have been with me most of adult life. had great time with young family on a whole
negatives, struggled after loosing my mother the year before, and worked like a trojan this year. had some private issues that still havent managed to shake off.
not trained at gym all year, feel i look like **** and not happy how thats happened.
if next year goes same overall then i have little to really complain of.
plus i have some pretty big plans for next year to do some extra work in an area i love and passionate about - and im going to go out there and make them happen. theyll contribute to society, help others, help develop my own skills where i need them - and possibly open doors for me in future. fingers crossed.

A pretty neutral year. It could have been better but 2012 I think will be a good year for me, I've started a saving cash and paying off debt and I can really see the light at the end of the tunnel as they say!
Also 1 whole year without a TV Licence. Excellent!

Certainly better than previous years!
1. My beautiful baby boy Isaac was born in March and me & the Mrs are happy again.
2. I got another Scoob after me and her (37 weeks pregnant at the time) were involved in a crash that wrote off my car.
3. On a works placement that I enjoy and am learning from the right people (not the old British Steel 'it'll do' mentaility). Apprenticeship qualifications finished a year early.
4. A long time friend repaid an act of kindness from 4 years ago in interest, in financial terms!
5. Halifax stuffed my mortgage and owed me several £k off the balance, aslo putting me in credit with the monthly payments.
6. Mrs took voluntary redundancy to be a stay at home mum which paid for new furnishings and treats for us and Isaac.
7. DJ'ing is looking good as I've had 4-5 really good gigs for respected well known brands with hopefully more bookings next year.
8. Met some lovely folk off here - Maz, Banny, Luke, Sav etc.etc.
9. A friend lost his best mate and it's been hard seeing him go through the grieving process knowing you can't do a great lot.
Mainly positive stuff but it couldn't really be any sh1ttier than say 2008-2009 2010 was average

Good.
- Company still doing ok, so still in job.
- Noisy neighbour upstairs moved out.
- Little old lady down stairs died, so no nursing staff buzzing her door at 7:30am on a weekend.
- Bought an Audi R8.
Bad.
- Haven't sold my flat.
- Haven't been able to buy that house I want.
- Got engaged (to stop her moaning on about it)

Pretty good for me, got into a new dept at work and really enjoying my job.
Turbo went on my seat Leon but warranty covered it so that was ok.
Found out I'm going to be a dad for the first time, me and the wife expecting our first baby next June time so everything crossed for next year too.

In 2011 I worked more; got paid less and most importantly was away from my lovely children.
Positively, managed to buy one of the world's greatest cars (just need time to drive it), have managed to find someone to replace me in my current job so can look forward to more fun in 2012.
Also had some great dirty weekends away (best thing with two small kids if you want fun time!).
2012 will be spending more time on my own business, helping another business get going and making sure I only work three days a week.
