Default New Years Resolutions.

Now it's 2012, how many of you have made new years resolutions and are actually trying to stick to it? It's now day 3 and it's so far so good for me.

Im trying to get into shape and run 35 minutes on our tredmill every day after work and then a few pushups/situps in the evening.

Any guys out there trying to quit smoking? cut the macdonalds? gym memberships? sport? no more alcohol?

Save cash: Already started by opening up a cash ISA.

New Job Search: Also started. I got a call to come in for an interview on Thursday but unfortunately I am working, I asked if there was any chance I could come in another day. The bitch on the other end of the line got very snotty with me, so she got told to **** aff. Job search continues....

Cut back on the smoking (I was daily, now not done it since new year!) I still enjoy smoking and will have the occasional smoke on a night out/special occasion.

Also to cut down on Mcdonalds and go back to the gym. I quit in summer this year and have now become a lazy potato, with motorcross being my only exercise!

Thats good going. I did 3.6 miles today and it said I burnt 440 cals. Ive thought about joining a gym for ages but I've never bothered because I know that if I do, I wouldn't keep it up...

I want to do this, I went to start last year, but I had recently suffered with anemia, so they didn't advise me to do it for a few months.

I have one of the less common blood groups, so I know it's in high demand.

I haven't made any actual resolutions, but I would like to look a bit better for my wedding in Aug, so I have revamped my diet to start. I have cut out as many carbs as possible, I haven't had any alcohol since Sat, and I haven't snacked either.

I need to get the fitness bit sorted also, so I can bet a good balance without feeling burnt out.

Well, I have put on a stone since the last family get together, so I feel a bit self concious.

dont cut the carbs back too much lol

probably best controlling there type and the time of consumption. rather than out and out elimination, esp if you want to still maintain some energy.

good luck

Thanks.

I might drop you a PM later and pick your brains if that's ok?

I don't want to be making things hard for myself, so I could do with finding a good balance. I need plenty of energy to run around after my little terrors!

Was it last year as in the end of 2011 hence why you have not yet done it or are we talking somewhere like jan, feb march which means it could be done now?

Also is your blood green?
