I've nicked Hodgkinson before. Complete tosser.
The bit which made me laugh most was the comment about going back in uniform - she wouldn't do it.
The biggest **** take was seeing that certain staff member who NEVER leaves the nick actually went to see a victim. I'll give you a clue, it was the one who had the sub-title Case Progression. She's on the interference team and spends all day going through other cops jobs and sending them emails telling them to do things that they have already done.
The comment about not going home on time was completely untrue, CID at Mansfield always **** off early and are only available if they want you to help them.

I could get some serious mileage from that Hodgkinson if he bursts into tears every five minutes.

I was very puzzled myself when I saw CID actually out of their office investigating something and not skanking uniform with the stuff they cant be bothered with.
I was also very puzzled when they got involved in the search for a misper. When I heard that I though someone had spiked my tea.
I watched the show with the GF and she was amazed at the behaviour of some of the public shown on there. Nicking from your neighbour then getting all tearful when Plod go looking for you.
Then that lad being all evasive, and sounding very thick, when asked about the people who'd come to his house
I just sat there saying, these are the people my lot are out dealing with all day
It's a good show because it's amazing how real it is. It's a pity Winsor didn't watch it before taking away all our pay and conditions

The 'very thick' lad was evasive because he was afraid, I think. They were unlikely to get much help as a camera was there to record his 'grassing'. The situation wasnt dealt with brilliantly, Im sure youll agree?
