Energy monitors that clip on - do they work around a cable that is only a live?
Home business will be running from a building that has its own consumer unit, and it has separate live and neutral tails coming from the meter area, but the meter also includes other parts of the building.
Because the home business will be using about twice as much energy as the rest of the building, we want to keep accurate records or usage to justify them to the revenue.
Are they accurate?

the one that i have has a single clip, which is fitted around the live supply.
as for accuracy, cant say - but i imagine they must be !!
came with software to download info to yr PC
