Any collectors of star wars figures, carded??
Just started collecting some rare carded figures (yep, geek), and was wondering if anyone on here collects similar stuff? Just trying to work out the best way to store these really. Got a mate who can make me little Perspex boxes with hinges on, and smoked so that the figures won't get damaged by sunlight Any collectors on here that can point me in the right direction for storing them??

I have Transformers boxed and bubble wrapped. They are in those plastic boxes with lids you can buy from Wilkinsons or Poundstretcher. They are very useful and I can also fit some of my RC cars in them (I sort of collect old RC but its expensive)
I do have a rare Star Wars figure too - its a Storm Trooper with the head of George Lucas. It is carded but has a white box to protect it.

I'd love to see a pic of that storm trooper mate, Must be worth a few quid?? I collect the 1980's Rocky figures made by Phoenix toys. The cards and bubbles that they are in are really fragile. I think I'll be better getting some custom boxes that I can put a figure in each one and store them like the old video cases under the telly!

Looks like this. Seem to go for about £30 on ebay. Not as rare as I'd hoped.
A client of ours used to work for Hasbro and gave it to me. He recently retired from Hornby. Cool job working in the toy industry.
