Default PPI refunds- the irony

Not a day goes by when I don't get a call from some vulture outfit trying to convince me to claim for PPI I was incorrectly sold. Even when I tell them I have never had any PPI they keep talking until they get told to foxtrot oscar and the phone goes down.

It's ironic that ther now appears to be an industry of 'people' trying to get people to claim for PPI they may not even have had because it was sold incorrectly by 'people' like them in the first place

This country needs some proper regulating for things like this and fast!

Tried this for home and mobile, they tend to just put the phone down quickly! I am also getting about one call a day!

I said, well as you have already said I can claim £4985 you must know all about the "loan", so you tell me ...

Geez the waffle before I did tell him to FO and never call again ...

The funny thing is, my bank actually told me that I had a refund to come back for mis-sold PPI.
(Even though I had said no to PPI when I was asked! )

So we don't need these vultures anyway?

i pointed out the irony of this in a post over 2 years ago

then i mentioned a friend who works in this business, and 5 years ago was working with loan and insurance companies selling dodgy ninja loans

is now working for the same companies selling PPI claim back facilities

he provides them with automated telephone services etc

making money is making money

Thanks for that. I've just registered my mobile.
They make me sick these people. I am getting pestered by Claims Professionals, whoever they are. I asked them today how the hell they got my mobile number, he did not answer. I just told him to take me off their list and hung up. I've not been on any comparison websites so how the hell do they know my name and number.

Funnily enough I dozed off around mid day only to be woken by some Pratt from one of these companies! Quite enjoyed that after not sleeping since Tuesday night!
