Default the forum supremacy

am i the only one to notice some strange behaviour from certain SN members?

it seems as if some characters hold themselves in quite high regard, a certain snobbery is prevelant it seems. Being a relative newbie, has this always been the case?

coupled with some monumental ***** waving, it makes for interesting character reviews i think.

banter aside, this is an internet forum, and it appears (although gladly be proved wrong) there are people that actually think the offending behaviour adds some kind of credence to there presence.

is my interpretation of some mis-guided?

There presence. You see i *try* and educate you, and it falls on deaf ears, Jef. How can you continue to make such rudimentary English errors?

I used to be big-headed but I'm perfect now.

Also those people who think they know everything are annoying those of us who do.

Strange behaviour? Why, if I want to hop around on a pogo stick while reciting Shakespeare, stopping every now and then to defecate on my floor, then I jolly well will, young man!

How's the mass chicken slaughter that is your body building diet going?

Yeah, it's wrong.

I don't normally get involved in such conversations, as my spelling and grammar isn't great, but just thought I'd answer as Tel isn't about right now to explain in depth.

Very briefly, and badly explained as I'm crap at this sort of thing, when talking about something that belongs to someone i.e. their presence, it is their. If you are saying where something is for instance, it's over there/there goes my forum credence, they're is just they are i.e. they're going on holiday.

Pretty bad explanation, but it's about the best I can do. Oh, and a spell checker won't pick up the error as you are not actually spelling a word incorrectly, just using the wrong there/their/they're in the context of what you are saying.

Apologies Tel, if I have made any errors there.

(Not that I really care )

thanks for that although my post was meant in jest, (with serious undertones lol)

ive read your explanation, and tried, but ultimately im set in my ways - so any time i use the word it will always be "there", regardless of application. its the easiest to type and there(thier)fore will survive as darwins theory of evolution predicts - survival of the easiest.
appreciate the advice though

some of the spelling police do take it a bit far on here. but correcting how a word is applied takes it to a whole new level. do they have nowt better to do

Its been noted

It has been like this for years, in one shape or another there's always some that are louder than others (so to speak), but the pecking order has changed, as has the craic during various phases. Of which are best divided into three parts; before infractions (Bi), during infractions(Di), post infractions(Pi)

Now those who were Bi had a free for all and ran amuck. The Di years were full of scandals . Then we have Pi, I like Pie.

Innit!

I can also write the letters "Ph.D" after my name..... unlike some individuals on this board who consistently seek to make disparaging remarks about the intellect of others should they have the audacity to disagree with them!

No, Chopper: the PhD doesn't stand for Pretty Huge Dick........unfortunately!

Nothing to do with whether I agree with you or not, just how your actions and the stupid little YouTube links you post as some sort of 'witty retort' make you look!
