Is this Brewer? Why does he insist on smashing his hands down on the roof of every car he looks at.

My issue is is its always a bit "put on". You know, suddenly a shed is turned into a minter after a few hundred quid is thrown at it (and conveniently forgeting the labour time). And whatever nail Mike buys and sells, he always comes up trumps. Love the cars, but I just wish they'd be a bit more honest about it all, but I suppose thats TV for you.

Top gear is the same, but I don't think they try and hide it, well, not these days at least.

I don't know why, but recently I've started wearing t-shirts over the top of long sleeve shirts when I'm working on cars, just like Ed does.

I hope they are not doing up any more yank tanks, they should do a classic Impreza this series.

I have no illusions either about the fact that probably £10,000 of labour goes into cars that they sell for a profit of £2 and reckon they have done well

It's just telly that I enjoy And i've got a Wheeler dealer mug

i watched the old episodes every time they were repeated, very entertaining to watch.

Why did edd when mopping a car never wash it 1st? and why use rattle cans to repaint almost a full panel?

Strange how wdd also thinks adding a strut brace to a BMW or stereo to another car is money better spent than giving it a full service or MOT for a new buyer?

I'd like to see them convert a Reliant Robin into a Bugatti Veyron for under £10 inclusive of labour and parts.

It's all rigged anyway. Crew members are the 'buyers'.

Is it really rigged or is that just a rumour you've heard? why would they make up sales, especially ones where they don't make a profit?
It's a great show

This series...
1 Fiat Dino
2 Morgan +4
3 BMW M5
4 Renault Alpine A310
5 Porsche 914
6 Mercedes-Benz G-Class
7 Jaguar XK8

There's a lot of info on it being rigged on loads of different forums.

If they don't genuinely sell them then who has them?
I thought the Scoob they did went on eBay?
They don't make any money on one of the cars this series. Although I guess they could be doing that to stem the 'rigging' theories.

Who buys the cars is by the by but I used to get really angry at the format in the early days because who has their own free fully tooled up mechanic but it's more about entertainment and education for the masses.

Edd is great and he has a way of explaining things that my wife and sister understand and that says it all!
