I thought it was a dream at first, with the kid appearing .. and the dead guys eyes twitching (save giving too much away).

Little bit disappoint it happened that way though, taken a lot of the plot out of the story there and one of the good characters.

In the previous episode didn't he stab a walker, then use the same knife on his hand when he was trapped on the bus. I thought that was a bit dumb with all the blood around.

From what i can gather.

Everyone is a carrier, it's only when they become dead they manifest, or if they're bitten etc.

Head injuries etc cancels this out of course.

Hence why it's called the walking dead.

Simples.

The big shock of the episode in question is actually accidently revealved on the back of the DVD boxset for S2. It mentions a characters death scene and how it was put together.

Pretty stupid really considering some people reading the back of the box set may not know what happened.

We are talking about a post apocalyptic zombie horror TV show here, so I would guess anything is possible.

and anyway ever since Bobby Ewing came back in Dallas, I lost my faith in TV drama.

I knew he got killed, saw it in the episode, but for him to feature as a zombie, after having his brains blown out, is a bit far fetched.

Can someone remind me who "Jenner" is? The link had something about whispering in Rick's ear. Must have missed that.

On a side note and I am sure it is not a coincidence, Edward Jenner was a famous 19th century physician and was known as the father of immunisation – and the pioneer of the smallpox vaccine
