Hosepipe ban

Hose pipe ban!
So who's actually had a letter to say we can't use a hose and come on who's actually gonna stick to it.
Surely u will use more when chucking bucket loads over the vehicles.

Apparently you do. Auto Express over the last couple of weeks sometime did a comparison of the hose car-cleaning method versus buckets of water and the hose won out. The water companies "assume" that when you wash the car with a hose that you have it turned on all the time and thus water just flows down the drain even when you're not spraying the car. What everybody does, of course, is use a nozzle that doesn't flow water unless you're actually using it! Doh .......
