BROUGHT???
After browsing this forum quite frequently for the last week or so I have noticed a serious amount of people using the word "brought" in place of "bought".
Please don't, its frikin annoying!

It`s not just youngsters who can`t differentiate between bought and brought...my last ex couldn`t. I tried many times to educate her but she never got it. Mind you....she is a Southerner

There was a whole "debate" on how important grammar is in today's society, with a fair proportion concluding along the lines of, "what's the problem?"
Sadly, that IS the problem - people don't see it as a serious issue any more. Sadly.

Yep, and if you try bring it up with most culprits all you get is abuse about being spelling and/or grammar police.
What can you do?
It's an indictment of the current Subaru image - have you seen some of the states on here?

I can fully understand people getting annoyed at text talk as it is hard to understand.
But if somebody makes the odd spelling mistake I dont see the harm in it as it is not been done to offend anybody.
Not everyone has excellent spelling skills and if they are trying their best to spell well at least they are trying.
