In my van?
Converting my van into a bit of a camper nothing too major though only for weekends and stuff.
So I'm thinking I woulden't mind a TV then get to thinking if it's even possible nowadays considering every thing is digital etc.
Would I need some kind of internet connection I could say possibly stream off of?

There are a few ways to do this, for sky you can get auto Dishes that find the sat, or you can get hold of a dish and a sat finder kit (much cheaper) 3G wifi routers would provide your internet connection but usually have a 1gb limit and not too great for streaming. going Freeview or free sat would be simpler or you would need to pair your sky card to the mobile box. also you would need a good inverter for the power supply.
drop me a pm dunk as my company deal with alot of sat systems.

Set your self up with a dish on your van.
Subscribe to multi room on your sky package.
Pair the new box up at home and make sure it's working.
Disconnect and connect it up in your van.
You can get satalite finder Apps on your phone these days to help you point the dish in the right direction.
