Anyone going to be watching? Been looking forward to this more than the euros, even tho (flame suit on) its a bit of a travesty that Beckham isnt in the squad.

I am watching it and it is rubbish! A team of nobodys except for Giggs, Richards and Bellamy. No idea who the rest are. Can't see them getting anywhere whatsoever let alone winning a medal.

No surprise to me why so many Olympic football tickets remain unsold

Watching the highlights of the women's football during half time was far more entertaining. I think the women's games will be far more watchable as it doesn't have prancing egos, dives and drama queen antics of the men's games.

Seems so obvious to me. The tourists would have paid to see Beckham, nobody cares if we win or not. Ok only three older players, but excluding Beckham has to be one of the most monumental misjudgments i've seen for a long time.

Oh it looks wrong because most people conform, nobody's denying it, certainly not me. But it's also illogical, and that's the part i protest against.
