I shall get this, too. Can do with some new decent music. My mate's band played Winehouse's Valerie lat night in our local pub, and it got everyone going. I'll have to ask them to integrate some of the Plan B next time.

1960's BRITISH:
JACK: Oi, I need to find me a classy bird for the night.
TOM: Go talk to that ponce Tony. He got some nice girls, by the hour, they are.
JACK: Tony's a ponce, is that right? I though he just had some sort of magic with the ladies.
TOM: ****in' prat, you are.

Fantastic:

But quite good here too:

I like the vulnerability she brings to the song.

Since I've come home,
Well my body's been a Mess,
And I miss your ginger Hair,
And the way you like to dress...............

Anyway, when do we get to see you perform our requests as you once promised, Sipie? It has been a long wait, you know. It will be great if you could do some of the tunes we requested, and entertain us.

I do have Plan B's last album and it's pretty good. The album I'm listening to at the moment the most is 'Some nights' by 'Fun'

Did she snort coke off the rim of a toilet and come on stage with a syringe still lodged in her arm? otherwise its just not authentic!

No, I don't think so, anyway. And, of course it wasn't authentic. She was copying Amy's singing FFS! She did do a good job, though.

Will do my best if you list a couple of options, I'd forgotten all about the last thread. Happy to do one if I can

Hi Sipie, that's great! I don't remember what all was requested from us lot, then . I remember what I requested, but that's a bit depressing, which I could do without at the moment. How about "You'll remember me when the west wind moves upon the fields of barley......."? That will sound good from you on your guitar.

I'll let someone else make the second suggestion, and then you can choose which one you'd prefer to do. You may keep my request for "Fields of Gold" as the plan B; literally.

Well, I`m making `assumptions` on the fact it`s the second album and was the 5th best selling album of 2010 with 826,400 sales plus the films he`s been in. So I assume he has a few quid stashed away

Very nicely done, SiPie. Here's the version my mother chose as one of the songs at my father's funeral. It takes a lot to make me weep.

Eva's version is lovely and I've always preferred that to Sting's original.

It's also one of the reasons that I've never really tried to play this song before: ie. you just can't do a song any justice when someone like Eva covered it so beautifully

WOW! Fantastic!

I'm touched that you performed my request. I had a busy day today, then a long walk in the woods to see the sunset. I come home and get this treat, I'm made up! Many, many thanks, Sipie! Very kind of you. You are very talented.
