Looking at getting one of these for playing about with, take some pictures & films of cars. Does anyone on here have any first hand reviews of these cameras? The quality of the videos look really good.
I have seen them on ebay here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GoPro-HD-M...#ht_1170wt_745
Is this a good price?

They're rubbish at taking pictures and film of cars, fantastic at taking pictures and films on cars.
Not a bad price but that's the old model, there's a HD 2 now.

So what would be a better option then Jack?
When i say taking films of cars, i do mean videos from inside them whilst on track, etc. I also want something that will take a few nice snaps at the same time, in one package if poss. I thought this or the newer version maybe a good call?

A couple of examples of the Contour 1080p (running at 720p/60fps: better for moving shots)

and this is one at 1080p/30fps:

(I'd watch them on Youtube or break them out)

We've just got a camera which we attach to the dogs while they are doing their water rescue training.
I can't remember the exact model, but I'll ask and see if I can get some links to footage.
