Does anyone actually like Mondays?
Myself and Bob Geldolf seem to really dislike them I'm not joking when I say I can't stand Mondays - in fact that would be an understatement - I fecking HATE Mondays...
Does anyone actually enjoy the Sunday feeling of "work tomorrow" and then drive into (or peddle if you're of that sexual orientation) work thinking "Woop, woop - another day in paradise"...
DCI - Clearly that silicone chip inside my head isn't switched to "Enjoy Today"

I used to hate Mondays with a passion. Hate and dread. The family business was suffering so instead of running said business my days (especially Monday) were taken up with answering phone calls from suppliers chasing money and customers chasing goods.
Now that we have balanced things out, my only problems are the ones the staff make for me, which is a lot easier to deal with than the PAYE and HMRC etc.
5 years of bad times means now Mondays hold no fear.

Bit of breeze here in Rock, just woken to a stunning view of the camel estuary
And we are planning to get the boats out a bit later this mourning and go for a sail, and the end of the week looks breezy enough for a windsurf

Lovely weather up here so quite thankful I'm on 2-10 shifts and not stick on days.
And as of thursday 2pm I'm off work for a week for my birthday. 28 on the 28th, oldest apprentice in town

I love Mondays! I like focusing back on my work, routine, ticking things off my "things to do" diary, studies and everything else. Mind you, some of all that spills over my weekends as well, but that's optional.
Happy Monday, everyone! Enjoy it.

We have an unwritten rule here that on your birthday you go buy cakes for the tea break. The only issue is that as we now have around 30 odd staff it's getting expensive. Think it cost me £20 this year.

I try to generally like Mondays otherwise i'm busy hating 1/7 of my life which in my books is a waste. However i must admit my general trying to like is not really helping. I still hate the Sunday evening feeling

If I was heading down to the beach for the day then yes Mondays would be great, as it stands I'm at work sat in front of a computer but also gazing out of the window thinking what I could have been doing today
Must play the lottery.

Day off today after a week in the Isle of Wight. Lawns mowed last night, cars clean, housework done, admin. up-to-date, Uni' essays done, just need to do a food shop and the rest of the day is mine! Nice!

No I wasn't so lucky (see snidy).
Our rule (due to working mon-fri 6-2/2-10 quick turnaround shifts) is to bring the 'goods' in on the nearest 2-10 shift. Days leave around 4/5pm with all the killjoy bosses so all the goodies come out at 7.30pm mashup cuppa time (break is around 5pm). So with being 28 on Saturday my nearest 2-10 shift is this Wednesday (same day as the Scoob's MOT actually). But back in 6-2 Thursday But then a week and day off Whoo hoo

Loving mine tbh. Technically on secondment to a studio, and loving every minute of it but also the start of my "holiday". Real holiday starts this week too. Back at work in September. Sweet.

Not fussed really. Because I know what I'm doing Mon to Fri its not such a big deal being in work. Sat and Sun trying to think of things to do so I don't feel guilty sat on my **** watching the motor racing are a pain so weekends I find more daunting than any day in work.
