Default Wyns Clean Burn Diesel

Evening All

Anybody used this?. Just put some in the weekend as i had a few issues on my diesel and now hopefully fixed need to stop the smoke coming out of it. Been driving it today and think its running through, although now smoke is pouring out sometimes. Although i assume this is where its clearing the engine and exhaust out as the car drives a lot better its a bit concerning.

Anyone used it before?. Just concerned as it does smoke a lot. Used 1/4 of a tank so far and added it to a whole tank.

Is it possible that the exhaust filter has become blocked and needs a fast run to clear it?

Fast run can be done legally, stick it in 3rd at 70 and get 30 miles under your belt, it is important to get the revs up and maintain them for a while.

Long motorway trip then, did seem a bit better this morning but does probably need a long run.
Think i will give the air filter a check over later as well.

Italian tune up required, get her rolling in first, change up into second then red line her in every gear. Do this once a week in my wee diesel - clears the crud outa her - amost 180K miles on her does no harm at all.

Get some Millars diesel cleaner & whack that through at double strength

That will give your system a clean, and up the cetane value up a few points

Cheaper than running super diesel by a country mile

and it gives some added power too

Used to run millers in my last car, certainly makes the car improve. did run it in the saab but i think the boost problem and excess smoke soon put an end to any improvements. Soon as its used this tank up it will be back on the millers.

Taking it for run to Dartmouth in Devon from Bristol tommorow so hopefully this will help a lot.

best way with diesels is a new diesel filter and cleaner.change filter and top up filter housing with neat cleaner then start and go for good blast staying above 4.5k.couple of miles and all sorted.mate done this for years at his garage for diesels before the mot.
