I'm not buying this bollox about the rest of the world is the same ........ it's the Tories that done it!!

The rich get richer - the poor poorer - it's the way of the Tories ... make the working man be glad of a job at minimum wage.

It's all designed on the playing fields of Eton.

Sorry, off topic but still offers comparison between the bad and the bad. I read about Blair's interview on Christianity yesterday. It was not bad! He might have fcuked it all up on that WMD business and by becoming Bush's coat hanger rather than staying an efficient leader for the UK, but he isn't a totally brainless human being. I like him as an orator. A teeny weeny bit more bearable than that chatterbox Cameron.

Formidably incompetent!.

See if you can work out this simple question, because the laughing boys couldn't.

Gordon has nothing in the bank.
Gordon earns £10
Gordon spends £15

How long does it take for Gordon to run out of money, and leave the country ruined?

Brown paid the national debt off ... the debt left by the Tories.

The downturn meant that we needed to borrow to save the country ..... when that stops then we slip into recession - oh, like we are NOW!!

No he didn't! It increased every year they were in power.

What he did do was sell of the national reserves to try and hide their irresponsible spending.

You clearly failed to understand the simple question, just as Gordon and Tony did.

I am afraid if you are expecting anything different from George Osborne, anything imaginative, innovative, game changing - you will be waiting quite a while

Totally one dimensional and out of his depth, his policies are the culinary equivelent of a boiled egg

Bunch of useless rich kids!!

Before you come out with a load of accusations Pete, you should acknowledge the performance of your heroes while they were in power. Remember the appearance they manufactured of a prosperous society which they achieved by overborrowing...in spades!

About the only thing that the Chancellor at the time can be thanked for is the fact that he kept us out of the Euro!

I can't forecast how this present bunch will fare in recovering our economy to something which is at least healthy. We shall have to see. I would certainly have no faith in the abilities of that Labour fellow who was so closely associated with the previous government's financial policies. We would be borrowing off Greece in no time I reckon!

I don't trust the present plonker in charge to keep us out out of a future Eu federation which would be the end of our country and a complete loss of democracy. How can you trust a man who instantly broke the promises he made in order to get elected?

People are asking why all politicians seem so keen to be in a federated Europe.

What do you think Pete, and what should they be doing about the economy as far as you are concerned?

Les
