What do you think? Who's been good, whose been bad?
Jake Humpfrey was good, Gaby Logan was good, Linekar ok just out of his depth sometimes. Inverdale has been dire, what was he doing interrupting Johnson with innate points? On that point Johnson has been really good with his expert opinion.
Phil Jones doing the trackside interviews has been a train wreck, with his banal questions, touching, then the thing last night with him ignoring then Kenyan national anthem, I think that was really disrespectful.

Really? I only watched the highlights, but ignoring Kenyan National Anthem is not good. Phil Jones is an idiot for doing that.
Whoever it was after 12.30 last night with the highlights, he used the words 'bits', and he stupidly called it 'Brits'. He immediately apologised for getting carried away, so we should let him off.
About live commentory, I thought Tim Hanman was wrongly pessimistic about Andy Murray. Before the match began, he said that it was going to be one-sided. He meant Head & Shoulders would win it. HA, he must have seen his bum when Murray kid won it. One in his little, beady eye.

Jake Humphries is a top presenter, total natural. Cav has been a good sidekick.
Gaby's late night slot has been really good. Fairly light hearted and a good selection of guests.
Linekar, okay. Does he like athletics?
Dont like Clair Balding, rude.
John Invedale has been okay.
Denise Lewis has been good, 39 and still looks fantastic.
Regarding the Kenyan national anthem, that was just bad luck. He had 30 seconds to interview Usain Bolt, thats live tv.

Jake Humphreys and Mark Cavendish have been really good in the velodrome
Brendan Foster and Steve Cram have made a superb team commentating on the athletics, whilst Denise Lewis has been great in the studio, Colin Jackson has been OK, but slightly annoying at times. John Inverdale and Clare Balding have both been getting right on my ****
Phil Jones has been OK, but last night with the Kenyan anthem, he really annoyed me, enough that I actually complained to the BBC
Michael Johnson has been the absolute pick of the crop though, knowledgeable and entertaining, and with that voice, deeply reminiscent of Morgan Freeman
As an aside, Cav has really impressed me with the way he has been able to make light of being the worlds greatest sprinter, yet still the only member of the British cycling team without an Olympic medal

I don't know their names, but the people doing the sailing and archery were both excellent. Not only explaining what was going on but explaining in laymans terms why things were happening and rules in an entertaining way.
And none of that in-joke in-knowledge bollocks which plagues niche events, e.g. Boat Race etc.
Never was interested in fencing, but got sucked in by it this time.
But I reckon the best was the track cycling team.
