Anyone using these:-

Do they really vacuum 'suck', and hold things as 'heavy' as mobile phones, etc.?

Despite the claims I'd advise not to have the windows open whilst going round roundabouts or fast bends whilst the phone is on the dash

(speaking from experience )

It's only small so wouldn't hold past 45 degrees and definitely not if getting bumped about, a bigger pad might be different.

Funniest thing is it doesn't work on my Nokia N8 as there's no flat surface to stick it too, the camera sticks out too much.

Looks like it relies on greater surface area to be able to hold down bigger/heavier things?

Jack, I bet it 'feels' weird that it sticks to it, bearing in mind no adhesive or magnets? (Of course, I know how a vacuum works, but nonetheless.........!)
