Default French killings

http://news.sky.com/story/981484/alp...e-under-bodies

Absolutely horrific

So the 4 year old is not only massively traumatised she has lost both parents, a grand parent and her elder sister is critical.

It beggars belief when you read something like this.

The other horrific story this week that got me was that poor woman that was crushed by a concrete window frame falling from a building site in London and crushed her to death.

What with all the drownings of kids and adults trying to save them lately both at home and abroad the news is nothing but shocking and sad at the moment.

Unhappy

It is indeed sad. My guess is that it is a family drama.

there is something mega strange about this.

the passer by was a pure excecution and removal of a witness, so question is, why were the family targetted, i think that might clear up alot when its known.

its in my head aswell, it seems vaguely professional, but without a backround story to the deceased its hard to make a judgment.
if it was a professional job is was poorly done.

If the family was known to the killer then they would have known of the 4 year old and she would have been killed as well. With both parents at the scene the child could not have been anywhere else.

Maybe they stumbled across a terrorist training exercise or similar?

Not gaurenty intel was spot on or even if kids were on the target list if there was one, could have expected one child and not two, or didn't manage to find her, or ran out of time to hunt for her etc etc

theres no doubt the cyclist was a witness execution, so theres something funny going on.

That said they wern't that off the beaten track so i doubt it was a terrorist training area. last thing terrorist want is this kinda thing so they stay hidden, also draws mega attention to the area which is the last thing they would want.

Def sounds like a pro hit to me

Apparently they are an Iraqi family who moved to London so I wonder if the Father had some kind of background dealings that lead to a revenge attack. It does seem too much of a professional type hit to be just an off chance armed robbery in the middle of nowhere. They were camping too so not as though they were living the high life and carrying lots of cash or jewellery about staying in an expensive hotel. Why would you target a family who is camping for an armed robbery. Just doesn't seem right.

That is terrible, I have children of the same age and I really feel for the children who are going through what is just the start of a terrible and tragic ordeal. To me the 4 year old was deliberately hidden from view under the seat and bags and told not to move from there which seems to suggest that the adults in the car new what was about to unfold. The older child was beaten around the head, probably in front of the adults as a way to extract information before they were executed, which probably means that there was more than one killer. Each of the adults had a bullet in the middle of their head which suggests that the people who carried out this murder knew what they were doing and will probably never be found. This all sounds like a scene from a movie. Unfortunately it wasn't and the real shame is that the children got mixed up in this. I hope the older child pulls through to make a full recovery and they both get through this ordeal. The poor little 4 yr old was asking for her family when she was taken away from the scene.......

Or... The family AND the cyclist were all witness to something more sinister and all executed as witnesses?

Or, maybe the cyclist was the target and the family were witness to that killing?

I did read on Twitter, so not sure how true this is, but the Iraqi guy was a former Nuclear Scientist in Iraq before fleeing to the UK

Taken from the guardian -

PA has more background details about Hilli.

A family friend named James said they moved to the UK in the 1970s after their mechanical engineering business was looked upon "unfavourably" by Saddam Hussein's Ba'ath party.

He worked as a freelance computer-aided design engineer and helped with designs for the Airbus A380 aeroplane, the friend added.

Hilli's accountant Julian Stedman said he ran a company, Shtech Ltd, registered to his home address.

Online records show Hilli was also a director of a Swindon-based company offering "business services, aerial photographers and surveys services".

He was also believed to have links with Guildford-based Surrey Satellite Technology. The company directed inquiries to the Foreign Office this afternoon.

The more speculation that is coming out about this family, the more it seems like an assasination plot.
Maybe we will never know ....

I also suspected it was a professional assassination. But certain things don't add up, such as the 15 spent bullet casings left at the scene, leaving the eldest girl alive, not noticing the other child... It all sounds very sloppy.

Maybe they ran out of ammo? Hence the bludgeoning of the eldest girl?

BBC News says an automatic pistol was used. If that was a semi-auto then 15 shots would be around 1 mags worth wouldn't it?

I read she was beaten and shot once in the shoulder? A professional hitman would have made sure she was dead. Either way we will know a lot more when or if she talks.

Gotta love BBC quotes

Newspapers suggest that the cyclist may have arrived while the attacker or attackers were still at the scene and was killed as a witness to the crime.
